Cutting the winglet cores  Feb 22, 2004


This is the right winglet. It's amazing to me how you     If you stand this up towards you, you can see the

I had to add a small scrap at the top of the winglet.        She did perfect!!
That line on the right is not a seam. It's only .1 deep.
Before cutting this, my dad had helped me with all the
hotwiring. He wasn't around at the time I finished sett-
ing this up so I wondered if I could trust my wife. I de-
cided to give her a try. I realized if she did screw up,
it would only be a result of me not giving her adequate
and correct instructions.

Nothing special to report here. Everything was straight-forward. Oh, one thing. The root template LEFT  RIGHT wording is REVERSED!  The plans wording is correct, but the template note is incorrect. I read it and needless to say, didn't get what was going on at all, then realized there had to be a mistake. I checked the FAQ and sure enough, there it was. Whew, onward.
