Got the plans.jpg (37607 bytes)

I think we all remember this day don't we? Yes, obsessively waiting, sitting by the window watching for the mailman 2 days before the plans actually got there, "here he comes, the mailman is comming!"  Holy sweet LORD!! What, no plans? Enter state of temporary depression. Next day, same thing. DOES the mailman have something big in his hand? please please. NO!!! Call Nat, "hi Nat, how are you? Oh, I was just aaaaa going on a trip soon ya, and aaaa, I was wondering EXACTLY WHEN did you mail the plans. Was that first class? The next day, FINALLY!  Let the real obsession begin.

First UPS parts shipment.jpg (36951 bytes)
First shipment.  I think we all remember this day also. John Slade got a photo of his UPS guy but mine thought it was illegal or something.

Here is my epoxy box. I use MGS. You can see the west system with the hand pump meters. I do a little finishing as I go. I use one of those new fluorescent bulbs with no dimmer or thermostat. Keeps it about 90deg. I have replaced the hardener container and the seal inside. I just found some rubber material and cut it to fit. No leaks.

I seal the hardener nozzle after each use with a finger cut-off from latex gloves and wrap it with a little masking tape. Keeps it fresh all the time with no crystalizing.
