Chapter 12  Canard Installation

upper tab pin.JPG (153792 bytes)
This is a removable pin for my upper canard tabs. I machined a hollow .1875 id tube, drilled the longeron doubler, (oversize and sloppy for the tube) layed the tube in place, injected flox all around the tube, put canard in place, tightened bolts on lower lift tabs (alum. bushings already in place) checked incidence, installed long pin (greasy) through lift tab and into tube. Let cure. I got the pin from spruce. You can see the cotter pin that holds the pin in place.
